I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality… I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with god “God”, I asked, “Can you give me one good reason not to quit?”. His answer surprised me… “Look around”, He said. “Do you see the fern and the bamboo ? “Yes”, I replied. “When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I  gave them light.I gave them water.The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor.Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said. “In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.But I would not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit.” He said. “Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insign...

In every endeavor there is always the risk of failure, the chance that something may go wrong but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't take that risk. Let the risk push you on. Let it make you more determined to achieve your goal. Imagine a world without risk where everything you tried was a complete success. Sounds good right. Wrong. If everything always worked out there would be no point in trying. You would never feel a sense of achievement or satisfaction. You can only feel proud of yourself for having pushed through your barriers, that you have seen the difficulty ahead but forged on regardless because you have faith in yourself. Change your perspective and think about risk or fear of failing as a good thing. Let it push you on; don't let it hold you back.

Everything happens for a reason, especially bad/negative things , Why? These things are presented to us because there is a lesson that we are supposed to learn from it. If we don't learn the lesson it will come again, perhaps in a different form until you do learn from it. I often hear people talking saying "yeah it always happens to me" these people are living with a victim mentality and that is quite likely what needs to change.

Proverbs 29:20 Have you seen a man who speaks without thinking? There is more hope for foolish people than for him. - How many times have you said something you know you shouldn't have said? How many times have you wished you could take it back? This has happened to all of us at sometime or another in our lives. Many relationships have been torn apart because of speaking without thinking.   I know people today who after years of being away from a past relationship has remembered certain words from that relationship that were said to them and that still affects their new relationships today and only brings negativity to their new relationships. I think that one of the biggest reason why relationships do not work out in the long run is because at one point, one side (or both) stops trying. Before one claims another person as their significant other, they would do anything to make that person happy. They would chase, they would flirt, they would be charming. They would send daily morning and goodnight texts every time you wake up or go to sleep. They would write corny messages and pick up lines just to make sure that there is a smile upon your face. But once they claim you as theirs, all of those things eventually stop. The 5 page texts slowly turn into 1. The constant calls turn into not calling at all. And the lovely endearments turn into daily arguments. In order for a relationship to work, don’t ever stop chasing. Just because the person you want is now consider “yours”, it does not mean they deserve anything less than the time when you’re trying to win them over.... Never. Stop. Chasing
