I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality… I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with god “God”, I asked, “Can you give me one good reason not to quit?”. In every endeavor there is always the risk of failure, the chance that something may go wrong but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't take that risk. Let the risk push you on. Let it make you more determined to achieve your goal. Imagine a world without risk where everything you tried was a complete success. Sounds good right. Wrong. If everything always worked out there would be no point in trying. You would never feel a sense of achievement or satisfaction. You can only feel proud of yourself for having pushed through your barriers, that you have seen the difficulty ahead but forged on regardless because you have faith in yourself. Change your perspective and think about risk or fear of failing as a good thing. Let it push you on; don't let it hold you back.

Everything happens for a reason, especially bad/negative things , Why? These things are presented to us because there is a lesson that we are supposed to learn from it. If we don't learn the lesson it will come again, perhaps in a different form until you do learn from it. I often hear people talking saying "yeah it always happens to me" these people are living with a victim mentality and that is quite likely what needs to change.

Proverbs 29:20 Have you seen a man who speaks without thinking? There is more hope for foolish people than for him. - How many times have you said something you know you shouldn't have said? How many times have you wished you could take it back? This has happened to all of us at sometime or another in our lives. Many relationships have been torn apart because of speaking without thinking.   I know people today who after years of being away from a past relationship has remembered certain words from that relationship that were said to them and that still affects their new relationships today and only brings negativity to their new relationships. I think that one of the biggest reason why relationships do not work out in the long run is because at one point, one side (or both) stops trying. Before one claims another person as their significant other, they would do anything to make that person happy. They would chase, they would flirt, they would be charming. They would send daily morning and goodnight texts every time you wake up or go to sleep. They would write corny messages and pick up lines just to make sure that there is a smile upon your face. But once they claim you as theirs, all of those things eventually stop. The 5 page texts slowly turn into 1. The constant calls turn into not calling at all. And the lovely endearments turn into daily arguments. In order for a relationship to work, don’t ever stop chasing. Just because the person you want is now consider “yours”, it does not mean they deserve anything less than the time when you’re trying to win them over.... Never. Stop. Chasing

Everything that you truly want you already possess within you. You have an abundance of love, compassion, confidence, strength ability, creativity, self-respect and success. You do not have to acquire it, you do not have to search for it but what you have to do is remove the internal barriers and walls that are preventing you from accessing all the wonder that is contained inside of you. You have  to let go of self-doubt, you have to let go of Fear. You have to let go of insults and negative comments from other people. You have to let go of a negative self-image. You have to let go of rejection. You have to let go of anger. When you break through these walls you will find all that you are searching for. All that you need is not “out there” it is already residing “in there” in you. I know this is not an easy task I still have many walls that I need to take down, some of which I have put up myself. Validation. We all need validation, for someone to tell us that we are doing well, that we are doing the right thing and are on the right path. The problem is we look for that validation in the wrong place. We seek external validation from friends, family, teachers etc but we need to turn that need inwards and validate ourselves. We need to trust our own instincts and know what we are doing is the right thing for ourselves. We also need to congratulate and applaud ourselves for our achievements. Yes it is nice to receive recognition from other people but let that be the icing on the cake. You need to be the cake. You are the foundation. You need to believe it first otherwise you give far too much power to other people who may not always have your best interests at heart and if you do not really believe it yourself when you hear it from others you will be incapable of accepting it. Love and trust yourself first.

No matter what happens, no matter how far you seem to be away from where you want to be, never stop believing that you will somehow make it. Have a unrelenting belief that things will work out, that the long road has a purpose, that the things that you desire may not happen today, but they will happen. Persist and persevere, your desired path remains possible.

Psalms 32:8 The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
